Pansy Oya

 

OK I know pansies are not red but that is what I decided I would use to do this anyway.

This is my first attempt at crocheted oya not too bad.  I can't find my nylon crochet thread at the moments so I will have to do this again in the future with the correct thread to make it look right.

But this will still be a lovely edging to add to my handmade lace box for future projects.  I am making 23 yards of this so it is going to take me a little while to get this done.  

 

This pattern is available here on etsy in my friends store and soon to be able to purchase on ravelry from my friend.  Sorry my photos did not come out well I always have a hard time photographing red.  The pale green you see isn't part of the pattern that is actually a picot edging one of my daughters made years ago that I used about 20 yards of and still have 23 yards of it.  But I wanted it to be a bigger edging so I added the oya edging to it.  The dark green and red is from the pattern.
