They where great fun. I learned a lot but boy, being in meetings for four days from 9:30 in the morning till roughly 8 :00 pm really wears a person out. They all went way over time, but the subject matter was so important we stayed the whole time. It just wears on you and the family and, I would assume, the in-laws too, after watching three little girls for that many days and for that many hours. My sister and brother-in-law never complained; they were great about the whole thing. I get to teach her how to make braided rugs in return for the favor, and I get to watch her kids tomorrow. I think it should be fun.
Now I can go back to focusing on my business and this blog and making another tutorial for whip-up. Most of all, I can focus on my family and the season.
Were the meetings for something with your business? Those are long days! Enjoy a day with children, and then some quilting time.
ReplyDeleteMeetings on personal responsibility, wealth creation, wealth protection and managment, and the role of property as it relates to those. So they were subject matter that was hard and complex and lots of note taking so it just wears out the mind. But the information is great and very useful to life.
