Comes forth such love with eyes a grinning
While shopping for a tree with care
Jack Frost's Kisses I cannot bear.
"This is the party of the year" I shout
The most important birth no doubt.
He looks upon us with such pride
His birth brings all the love inside.
Songs and praises we sing of his coming.
Lighting candles and giving. It's all part of loving.
We grace our homes with his creations.
A tree, a branch, a decoration.
Aromas from baking delights unfold.
The heart's in the kitchen I've always been told.
On Christmas Eve when all are at rest
Ask was it worth it, the effort of giving your best.
Oh yes! O yes! Oh yes indeed
Happy smiles and love are always in need.

Nonnie is my aunt, and she wrote this poem that hangs on my wall. She also did a lovely little water color with it. Click on photo to see it better.
That is wonderful! Could I order a copy?
