So on my last post I said I would show this tomorrow well it is the day after tomorrow. Yesterday was busy. Had to finish making
ten corsages for a spring swap, two more for another swap,
made 40 some crazy nine patch quilt squares, cut some
yo-yos and made them, worked on the
yo-yo table topper some, wove some
weave-it squares for an idea I have, mailed 3 packages at the post office, picked up a sick kid from school, two parent teacher conferences...etc. You see how the day went, so no post yesterday. I will play catch-up today.

Above is the picture of the one granny blanket. There was a purpose to making it; I figured by the time I finished it I would have my tension down pat and it wouldn't be a problem to do other projects.

I was right, but boy, was that one boring afghan. The yarn is acrylic, back in the day when I had to buy thrift-store yarn and that was all I could afford. It is actually about the fourth or fifth blanket on the bed, depending on the day. Right now it is number four, above it is a quilt with birds, above that a quilt that is a double wedding ring, and on top is a feathered star.

So I figure it helps keep me warm and no one can see it, until now of course.

I talked above about some of the other things I did yesterday. Here are what they looked like. I like the really bright colors of the
quilt blocks.
Twelve of the blocks are for a swap; the rest I will keep and play with later.
My WIP for the day/week is I am making more yo-yos.
