Day 21 of an apron a day....

full apron
This is another over-the-head, tie around the waist, full-apron apron. I really like the fabric in this; the purple rose fabric is so cool. Just not sure if it does the apron justice in this pattern or if it is the other way around where the pattern of the apron isn't doing the fabric justice. This apron hasn't seen much wear. Funny thing, some of these aprons you can tell where well used and some it looks like were made and never ever worn at all, not even once. But that is probably true for most collections.

This style of apron was popular in the 40's - 50's. I think this is more a 1950's version.

  1. Beautifl fabric colors in this apron. I do not care for the over the head style but I guess it does provide good protection. Very nice apron though and I am sure it was treasured by the owner.
