Part 10: little boy jacket

I just think this jacket is adorable I love the cord detailing around the collar of it.

The mismatched pearl buttons are sweet with the mistake of one button.  More than likely one button went missing and someone used what they had to fix it so now it is mismatched shows the frugality of our for fathers.  The other option is that it was done on purpose to begin with because that is the button that would have the most stress so a bigger button would not pull out of its hole very easily while a child played.

 

I also like the size in the texture differences of the fabric and the contrast in the color of fabrics used.  The details are simple but classic I want  one in my size.  The jacket is fully lined.  Wouldn't this be adorable as part of an Easter outfit that had white sailor shorts.
