Here is the apron that I made a green copy of in an earlier post. This apron is a gingham apron, of course, with chicken scratch embroidery; the pleats in it are actually achieved with the chicken scratch. There are a total of four pieces of fabric making up this apron.

We are still trying to date these; so far I think this one is 1940- 1950 because of the style of apron. Best bet, mid to late 1950's.
