Mom's White sheer dress

Here is a surprise to my sisters here is one we had not photographed before.

This is a very sheer fabric sort of like Swiss dot.  The styles of dresses mom had are sort of amusing to me considering I know how she dressed as an adult these sort of surprised me.  Mom was a little less conservative in her youth but then I think we all are.  They are very lovely dresses the majority of them of course there are the anomalies in the group.

The back bow needs to be starched or pressed or something to hang correctly but it is lovely.

The fabric on the hem of this dress is stunning.  This needs a good dry cleaning of course.

This is obviously a sleeveless dress

 

The underskirt has ties to hold it in place.  not sure why it wasn't just attached to the rest of the dress but doesn't really matter.

This one is handmade no doubt.
