Acorn pincusions

acorn <span class=

I just wanted to show the new acorns, and other pincushions over at Vintage Threads. I have never seen acorns like this till I saw Frannie's; they are just amazing. Notice the quarter and the little acorn. That was the biggest acorn I could find where I live; things must grow real big in Texas where Frannie is from. These make charming pin/needle cushions, and they are stuffed with cedar powder so they work as moth repellent if you want them in your sweater drawer or hanging in your closet or tucked away in a trunk to keep blankets from getting attacked by moths.

I will post the triangle hair scarf pattern later this afternoon to early evening.
