Boku Crochet Fan Scarf
When I was making some of the bookmarks I decided to play with a single skein of boku yarn I had and make a scarf the pattern was modified a little from the bookmark. I made the starting fan a circle and then I added more connections of rows to make it stronger. Used up as much as the ball as I could and am using a large decorative safety pin as the closure to hold the scarf on. I think it came out pretty good. I sort of wish I had more yarn to have made it longer or I should have stopped sooner to make it more of a cowl but this works too.

I love playing around with different yarn weights and hook sizes. It's amazing how many different looks you can get with the same pattern, when you change yarn weight or hook size.
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely. What size crochet hook did you use to get this proportion on this stitch? Thanks for posting this -- I'm going to make a pile of them!!
ReplyDeleteI just used what the yarn called for can't remember any more
