Picture above is what the package looks like, if you want to get it. When we opened the box, we discovered two of the pieces where broken so we glued them with icing and let them sit for a few hours, then assembled that. Then we let the house sit over night so it would be strong enough for the kids' attack; plus, we started way too late to finish and still get the kids up for school. So we plan to finish this after school today. The kit comes with frosting , candies, tree, and a snowman. It came with the bottom two bowls of candy and the package that contains the snowman and tree, see upper right photo. The other candies we already had, and the girls had some of their own that they want to add to it after school. So I am sure it will be over the top with candies, which is fun for kids.
We actually have another one, but we are going to give it to a little family in our neighborhood who isn't going to have a very big Christmas this year. We hope it will give them some simple family time together to get into the season.
We normally have Family Night on Mondays, but this week it is a sort of Monday-Tuesday thing. I might make some small ginger snap men to go with this; that will surprise the girls. I will post pictures tonight of the finished piece.
