Antique doiley re drafted

Vintage doily found at an antique store, re-drafted by me for your enjoyment; have fun crocheting. Now in ravelry store and on etsy

size 11 hook

ch = chain
slst = slip stitch
dc = double crochet
tb = treble crochet
nxt = next
sp = space
sk = skip
x = repeat the number of times the number that follows
* and ** = start and stop of repeats

  1. I am a leftie, and perhaps am an undiagnosed ADD, as I have immense troubles reading patterns and trying to translate what I read into what my hands should do.

    I have never asked anyone this, however, how does one join the motifs? Slip stitch them together? Blanket stitch?

  2. in this case they are joined with a single crochet not a slip stitch. It all depends on the pattern and the look you want all three ways are acceptable.
