Day one was a breeze day two not so much for me. I have never placed beads in this manner nor have I done nupps. The beads not an issue pretty straight forward. But the nupps are a little nightmarish to me I have frogged that section at least 3 times but not more than 5.
I think I have decided to leave it mistakes and all I am supposed to do that section again. When I do it the second time I am going to break up the stitch repeats from left to right with stitch markers and see if that fixes it. then I can compare the two areas and see the mistakes I made. I feel a little silly leaving it but I have decided in the long run it won't bother me too much as this is a learning piece and that is how it is. The pink line you see running through the piece is a temporary life line which has been used several times already. I think I will be adding them at the end of everyday so if I have to frog I only frog up to that line and don't have to fix other days work. Well I have learned I am not up to this level yet but that never stops me full steam ahead and learn as you go that is how I do hand work and always have.
I plan on getting back to Romanian point lace in the near future just after the deaths I needed to clear my mind and focusing on something hard does that. Romanian lace is very easy to me since I have done it for so many years that my mind wonders and well sort of makes me sad especially since the pieces i have to work on I was showing my grandmother as I did them and she wanted to see them finished and show her. Just not exactly the same to me at the moment to work on them as I don't get to play show and tell with her, she was my greatest admirer of my stuff. I miss getting to show her my finished projects.
