Valentines and work

Valentines for the little girls, paper dolls from one of my grandmother's favorite artists.
What work looked like on Monday (not all the photos came out well).
What the customer sees:

What the florist sees:

What work looked like Friday morning (once again, not all photos came out well): we had three times this amount of flowers.

What the florist sees: by the way this is only one of two coolers. I didn't take pictures of the other as we had to walk outside in the snow to get to it, and I was already cold enough just from going in and out of this cooler, let alone going to the delivery cooler where all the arrangements for delivery for Saturday had been stored. These are just Friday morning arrangements, will call, and some of the loose flowers; more had been stored in the delivery cooler. We had over 7,150 roses in this cooler.

  1. Wow, what a beautiful shop, I could spend some time looking around in there. I can just imagine the lovely smells of all the flowers. The store rooms are great too. Dont think I have seen so many flowers altogether like that.

  2. Valentine's Day must be the busiest time of the year for florists. Thanks for sharing the two different worlds!
